I'm giving 4 stars because I bought this door knocker to use as a door knocker, but it arrived without holes to mount ( 'holes' are filled-in with cast iron ), so I couldn't mount my door knocker as a door knocker, so I repurposed my door knocker into a door stop and I'm very happy now with my new door stop... that can also be used as a floor knocker (if I had downstairs neighbors, it would be a fun way to annoy them).. My husband and I are remodeling our old farmhouse, and we got a brand new wood front door in a craftsman style and I stained and finished it myself. I poured my blood, sweat and tears into that project... It took at least 3 weekends to complete.
