We purchased this bed frame to use with our split king adjustable bases, and it worked out perfectly. Since the adjustable bases support the mattresses, we only needed the frame for the headboard, footboard, and overall appearance. The bed is beautiful, feels solid once assembled, and really elevated the look of our bedroom. Assembly was straightforward overall. The only issue we encountered was that one of the side rail hooks wasn’t positioned correctly from the factory, so we had to loosen the screws, adjust the hook into the proper position, and tighten it back down so the rail would connect to the headboard correctly. The canopy bed is beautiful and was easy to assemble. The instructions included are accurate and easy to follow. I only knocked a star off because the top and bottom "F" pieces did not screw in on the left side of the bed because the screw holes didn't align properly. I even tried turning them around, flipping them upside down and swapping the places of the 2 bars, to no avail. But I just left the bars slotted into the brackets and I think it will be ok..they are just not secured with screws on that side of the bed.
