Open tube design makes this mat ideal for all floor areas wet or dry such as pools, decks, shower/locker rooms, saunas, and SPAs. It can be used in low to high bare feet traffic areas. However, it may not be good for higher traffic areas where shoes are worn as they would be subject to much more abuse and would wear too quickly. Therefore entryways that may see more than 100 visitors per day should use a different type of matting.

Nice mat. It lays flat. Dirt can fall in between the dots, which prevents it from being tracked inside. The shortcoming is that the dots aren't that effective in scrubbing dirt off shoes.
