We tried reaching out to Wayfair customer service but was told nothing could be done. The chairs are adult owned and used - no harsh treatment by any means. We feel disappointed in the quality (or lack of), but also in Wayfair's refusal to stand behind a product they sold. One of the attached photos clearly shows the filling material and separated stitching. The other not so much because we have attempted to stitch it ourselves to keep it from becoming worse.. This lift chair recliner is truly awesome!! We’ve owned a few lift chairs over the years, and this one is by far the best — it reclines the farthest back and lifts the highest of any chair I’ve ever seen!! The fabric is so soft and plush, and with the heat and so many massage settings, this bad boy is so comfortable you’re not going to want to get out of it! It even has two really nice pull-out metal cup holders, one on each armrest. We actually shopped at a very high-end furniture store in town before getting this one, and honestly, this chair from Wayfair beats the lift chair recliners they had BY FAR! We got this for my mother, who has a very small room and is pretty tiny herself. Her last chair was smaller, and after getting this one, I have to say — even though it’s probably a little large for her room — I wouldn’t go back. That old chair just wasn’t comfortable or well made. Just got this recliner to replace the one I bought from WAYFAIR a few years ago. I had used it for hours on a daily basis so the springs slowly had lost their support.
