The iconic British police box functioned as a telephone kiosk or call box located in a public place for the use of members of the police or for members of the public to contact the police. Unlike an ordinary call box, its telephone is located behind a hinged door, so it can be used from the outside, and the interior of the box is, in effect, a miniature police station for use by police officers Today the image of the blue police box is widely associated with the science fiction program, Doctor Who, in which the protagonist's time machine/space ship is called a "TARDIS" for time and relative dimension in space. Constructed from exterior grade ply-board, polyresin details, and an outdoor, water-based, non-toxic paint. The feeder will hold 2 pounds of regular wild bird seed. Just slide up the roof fill it up with the seed of your choice and hang it from the heavy-duty nylon rope. The seed will spill out onto the bottom tray which also has small corner holes for drainage. Clear acrylic windows will let you know when it's time to refill.

Just as expected! And bigger on the inside!. Anonymous. Tecumseh, MI. Sun Jul 07 2024

Fun unique designer. Front door cleanouts. For outdoor spaces.

It's very cute! Gave only 4 stars because the way the string is stapled to it, it tips forward a bit when hanging. Would definitely prefer it to hang straight. We still enjoy it, but it is a noticeable difference.. Linda. Meridian, ID. Sat Jul 18 2026

House a host of purple Martin families with the S&K Purple Martin House. Sturdy plastic pieces snap together with plastic screws to form this two-story green, tan, and white house. This dwelling features slip-resistant floors, convenient landing, and take-off rails on each floor, and swing-up doors for easy cleaning. Each of the twelve rooms measures a comfortable 6" x 6" x 6" for the nesting Martin families, but if you'd like larger compartments and fewer families, you can easily adjust the inner compartments to 6" x 6" x 12" in order to create six nesting sites. Ventilated door panels provide maximum comfort, and the crescent-shaped starling-resistant entrances deter pest birds looking to usurp your rightful Martin tenants. For even more versatility, plug the crescent holes and punch out the round entry hole on each apartment. Overhangs, gutters, and rails also help protect martins and their eggs. Mount this home high on the S&K Telescoping Aluminum Pole or use the S&K Pole Adapter to mount it on an existing 1.25" diameter round pole (not included).
