This vanity is superb quality. It is made of better material than other vanities at this price range. It came prebuilt, requiring little effort to put the countertop on the vanity. The size is perfect for smaller bathrooms. Material is not particle board, which is always a benefit for a bathroom. The only caveat I have is that in the sink, the backplate below the faucet is only stuck on via adhesive, and looks out of place. This vanity is very nice. We purchased the brushed oak with Cala white marble top. It is very solid and well made. We had to cut a notch for a pipe and it is definitely solid wood. The color is very neutral and not too yellow. We had to take the drawers out to install and they were somewhat difficult to reinstall so the soft close worked properly. It is very heavy. This was marked down more than $500 from the original price. Even so, $1000 is nothing to shake a stick at. I was expecting a quality I could live with. Well, that's what I got. My major complaint is that the space between the cabinet and stone top is off so the top is slightly higher on one side. The other fault so far is the screw holes for the handles are not counter sunk, drilled from the front, leaving a splintered rough hole on the inside drawers. And the screws for the handles are so SHORT as to be almost worthless. I'll probably change them. All the other screws are countersunk with a clean finish. And the door is not flush at the very top.
