I have several mounted picture lights highlighting my artwork but they are all battery powered or rechargeable. The process of changing the batteries or taking the picture lights off the walls to charge for several hours can be tedious and replacing batteries is expensive. So I decided to try a hard wired one. When I opened it I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and well put together the dimming picture light was and yet so light in weight at only 1.5 lbs. I’m waiting on an electrician to come and install it and then I’ll be able to judge the illumination quality but I’m sure it’ll be fine. Now I need to figure out the cost difference between battery powered picture lights and electricity powered ones!!! lol. Nicholas. Rockford, IL. Sun Oct 25 2026

The gracefully curved hanging arm positions light perfectly to cast even, glare-free illumination directly onto canvases, prints, and framed decor. Damp-rated for versatile use, this dimmable fixture elevates hallway galleries, living room statement walls, bathroom vanities, and bedroom accent pieces, blending seamlessly with traditional, vintage, and transitional home decor.

This came well packaged to prevent damage. I am doing a whole house remodel so I will update my full review once my electrician hard wires into the wall. The finish is beautiful - gold but soft and subtle like it should be - not gaudy. I will use it in my living room above my couch to showpiece an original piece of artwork. Looks expensive and high quality. NOTE: does not plug in and requires hard wire into the wall just like a wall sconce. I love that due to no wires to hide however once it is up, it cannot be easily moved. It is unique, heavy weight, looks expensive.. Jennifer. OH. Sun May 24 2026
