This is really the neatest ornament display item. I saw several and chose this one because of the height size. But, when I received it, what is cool is if you don't want ornaments hanging 360 degrees, you can only put on the hangers on the front half, so essentially putting up against a wall on a table (the back doesn't need to have the hangers on it). I really like the look of this jewelry stand. It is a bit short, so make sure you check the specifications to make sure it will work for you. I took a picture with one of my longest necklaces and one of my shortest necklaces for reference. I dont believe the base is a real stone, but it is heavy. On the bottom there are two stickers. One is for California prop 65 and the other sticker says that its made with safe paint. I think those two things might be contradictory.
