Shaped like a wonderful amber diamond, it is certain to be the centerpiece of any room. Completely dimmable, you can create the perfect ambiance for any situation. In the early days of electrical lighting, inventors such as Thomas Edison tested and retested as they searched for long-burning filaments. In 1890, the filament choice was carbonized cotton. Bulbs have a tungsten filament, which is used to reproduce the single hairpin loop of a vintage design. Position it within a clear shade or exposed socket to enjoy its shape and ambient glow. This Edison-inspired bulb is a steampunk favorite, with its glowing cage-shaped filament surrounding the central glass support. Crafted to preserve the look of early 20th-century lighting, the incandescent vintage designer diamante 40w amber 120v medium base bulb is the perfect way to brighten a room. Please note, that these bulbs are not as bright as modern bulbs of the same wattage and are recommended for exposed socket fixtures. Glass has a golden amber tint, which can vary in degree from light to medium.

Absolutely beautiful. The reflecting light gives such a cool design from the bulb shape!. Bettina. Vashon, WA. Wed Jul 22 2026

I ordered these 4 bulbs because they are the right size to fit my new ceiling light fan. I was not sure about them because of the gold covering the top of the bulb, but took a chance anyway, because of the size and the fact that they are only 40 watt, which is what I need. I really like these bulbs! I had no idea that the gold would basically reflect the light up and out to the sides, instead of it shining right into your eyes when you look up at it. I'm very happy with this purchase, and the amount of light they provide while shielding the brightness from the bottom.. Patricia. Tomball, TX. Tue Jul 16 2024
