I ordered these 4 bulbs because they are the right size to fit my new ceiling light fan. I was not sure about them because of the gold covering the top of the bulb, but took a chance anyway, because of the size and the fact that they are only 40 watt, which is what I need. I really like these bulbs! I had no idea that the gold would basically reflect the light up and out to the sides, instead of it shining right into your eyes when you look up at it.
