Overall, I am happy with the fandelier. However, the assembly and installation was somewhat difficult, as the written instructions are not super clear. If not for my husband, I would have had to hire a professional for assembly. The actual attachment to the electrical was made easier with the provided S-hook, and I appreciated that. The glass took several attempts at arranging to lay even and not rattle while my HVAC or the fan portion of the fixture was running. This is due to some of the glass being slightly different thickness, and therefore required movement to find the optimal position of each piece. With that all figured out, I do like the fixture!. It’s really pretty. For the glass leaves,the bottom layer is screwed on and there are two washers for each leaf. Then the top are just hooked on.
