I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. I believe it completely throws off the aesthetics of the room. I will be hiding the remote behind something because no way do I want a black remote on the wall. I wish it was white (. Laura. Absolutely gorgeous!!! The fan is rather small so not sure how much of cooling affect it will put off but honestly not a big deal for my use. This fan is remote controlled, which is awesome! Super cute! This fan came fully put together and well packaged. There is a bit of a plastic off gas smell, being that there is no real crystal or glass, but clear plastic. What a WONDERFUL chandelier/fan and what a cool concept! So glad I stumbled across this beautiful solution for my daughter's room! It's beautiful and sophisticated. But also extremely functional (even with the smaller fan)! First of all, this is super easy to install... it's literally just connecting the live, neutral, and ground wires to the house wires and that's it! IMPORTANT NOTE: the instructions say to attach a receiver part (which you will think isn't in the box -- because it's not)... but you do NOT need that part, and can literally just skip that part of the instructions. Believe me, I thought it was missing too, told wayfair, they sent a replacement, then the new box was missing it too, so I tried installing it without it, and it worked! Anyways, the gold color is PERFECT for my daughter's Monet-inspired room. The "cracked ice" shades are beautiful. The crystal clear fan is PERFECT both aesthetically (to not broadcast there's a fan in this chandelier) but also it works great and has 6 speeds! I also love that in winter you can reverse the fan direction and pull the heat upwards to circulate it -- brilliant! P.S. the fan is ridiculously QUIET which is so awesome!
