However one of the screws on the finials was crooked, so it sets crooked unless I turn it just so (so you don’t notice it). Also, because I needed a long rod, I got the one up to 120”. These are very nice curtain rods. They arrived safely with no damage to the glass finials. The color is a nice matte gold, not shiny at all. The brackets were a bit hard to put up because mine is a historic home and the walls are solid wood. The provided screws just weren't strong enough to go through the wood, even with a drilled pilot hole. After changing screws to some wood screws we already had the brackets went in place easily. The finials are a wonderful glass with a ribbed design and a nice weight. They look quite attractive. I think they have an upscale look. I recommend these curtain rods. Sara. Stephenville, TX.
