The setup was super simple! Everything just snaps into place. I was also happy to see that the lid opens like its supposed to. The base also has drainage. I would recommend this as a summer shelter rather than a year round one. It is sturdy for now, but well see how it manages years of weather and usage.. Sara. West Texas. Wed Apr 15 2026

Finished putting this together and up today so the girls can be ready for The Nino. The quality and the construction were almost 5 stars for me. I’m only concerned about the quality of the strap material that holds the cover in over the edges. Otherwise this is awesome and definitely a great value.. George. Valley Center, CA. Thu Oct 08 2026

It would definitely be easier for 2 people to assemble but it is possible for 1. Took me about 8 hours over a 3 day weekend to complete. Works well for my dog. My only suggestion is when attaching the top, do it from the inside, much easier that way.. Anonymous. Mon Sep 28 2026

I purchased this dog kennel before moving and had it shipped directly to my new address. After settling in, I assembled it myself. I was surprised it arrived in five packages, and once started putting it together, I quickly realized how heavy it is! I highly recommend assembling it exactly where you plan to use it, as it's nearly impossible to move once fully assembled. The pre-drilled holes and markings made the process easier than expected. My dog is incredibly strong and has managed to escape from every enclosure we've tried before. But with this kennel, I finally have peace of mind. He has plenty of space to move around and genuinely seems to enjoy relaxing inside. The metal roof looks sturdy, and I'm looking forward to seeing how well it holds up against rain and snow.. Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. Only negative is the latch for the resting box legs is a little on the cheap side so we replaced it with something a little more durable.. Miles. US. Wed Aug 12 2026
