This is a very classy modern light. It came with a broken globe but a new one was sent within a week. It is best to have two people to install because the hooks keep coming out while trying to wire. Without exaggeration I have removed and replaced at least 100 light fixtures in my time and this has to be one of the easiest I ever have installed. The domed canopy cover on the fixture allows for it to be easily attached to the mounting strap on the outlet box so you dont have to struggle trying to tuck excess wire into the junction box. The fixture was easily installed in 5 minutes. My only problem was with the globe style shade. It does not fit over a standard size bulb. I knew that from reading the reviews and had purchased the bulb recommended by other reviewers. Unfortunately that didnt work either. I had to resort to a standard base candle type bulb. The fixture will only handle 40 w Max so do not depend on this fixture for more than ambient lighting. I still love the style and it works for me. I consider it a good value for the money.. Sandra.
