Outstanding naturual terracotta color and does not look too orange like many of the pots I looked at. While it is heavy, it is not that heavy for its size and the shipping was outstanding. I was most concerned about a broken pot arriving by freight and it turned out to be packed in an insulation foam that surrounded the product and totally protected it. These rustic pots are lovely, and just what I was looking for. My only complaint is what is with all the excessive packaging! Seriously. These are rustic, somewhat pitted terra cotta pots. Not precious china. But I now need to dispose of a huge box of styrofoam pellets. Way overkill. They probably could have been shipped with a nice little wrap of bubble wrap, which they had, but then covered by a ton of styrofoam. Please remember that this is the only planet we’ve got. So far.. I love the look of this pot so much I use it as a little tool pot for various decor with other curated collections because it’s got such a great look!!! As far a plant pot there is no drainage hole … I would just throw some pebbles in the bottom if I ever get a plant in it it was a little smaller than expected, even after I saw the measurements. These are really high quality planters and very heavy and sturdy. I will say that the colors look a lot different than the picture... the picture makes them look blue on the tip fading to a pretty purple but they are more of a dirty looking greenbrown which was kind of disappointing. They also were REALLY dirty in the shipping box.. literally dirt all over them I wish the seller would have hosed them down before shipping. I actually love the base, but it is definitely not white. I would say it is more of a yellowish cream with a taupe pattern through it. If you’re wanting pure white, this is not the vase.
