For the most part, I am happy with the fountain… I wanted something on my deck to help create some serenity and tune out noises from my neighborhood. I wish it was a bit louder but there is nothing that can drown out the sound of screaming kids. One of the three lights didn’t work but I wasn’t interested in the light feature so disconnected that. There were a couple of small chips on the fountain but not too big of a deal. The tube had some scratches which I only hope is that it doesn’t decay with use. I absolutely love this fountain. The only minor issue was the internal pipe for the power cable; it was a bit short, which limited the water level and made the pump sound a little loud. I easily swapped it out for a longer piece of standard PVC pipe, which allowed for a higher water level and a much quieter operation. Ive been looking for a water fountain for quite some time. I wanted something that would provide conversation privacy from my neighbors, drown out some freeway noise, yet still sound tranquil. What I love about this fountain is the shape, size and overall modern style. Its a heavy solid piece, and it sounds wonderful with just the perfect amount of water flow. Wayfair Delivery was quick and amazing, and my contractor put it together in less than a hour. Everything is built-in, so once you get it centered and level, you just add water and plug it in. Simple, easy concept design! Its more textured than I expected, and unfortunately there are minor nicks all around the exterior and along the rim. Because I ordered the black color, its probably more noticeable. Just something to note if ordering in black. Overall, Im so happy with my new water fountain!! Its adding so much to my peace!!. Love this fountain! Could use better instructions so I’m adding a few tips about installation 1. Only one cord comes out of the bottom (drawing showed 2) 2. Warm plastic tube w a hair dryer to soften it for insertion 3. There is a (mostly) round plastic cap that should be placed over the reservoir tube (once you’ve snaked the power cord thru) to protect the plug from water. 4. Would recommend putting fountain together indoors. It’s tricky. Also, it weighs 40 pounds without water, so don’t add water til you get it outside and are ready to go. 5. I used clear postal tape to strap the top to the reservoir to keep it secure while moving it out of the house. 6. The cord is about 6’ long but runs the length of the base, leaving 3-4’. Plan accordingly. I placed my unit in front of a window so I could snake the cord under the window and plug it in inside (used an extension cord). 7. I added 2 copper disks to reduce algae build-up.. This fountain is the first thing I put in a new home. I always get a fountain but usually not one so big, and then I usually wish it were bigger. So I went in on this one because I loved the color and the overall shape. I recommend it. I don’t like putting things together but this was easy enough (having put fountains together before). I knew it would splash so I also got an outdoor rug (Wayfair as well) for it, and I will say when I fill it up as much as I like to it does splash beyond the rug by a couple of inches or so. Not a huge deal for the room it’s in. Now, the color. If you like the color get the fountain. I’m happy every time I see it, day or night. I love the lights at night. I just unplug it when I travel (and I travel alot) or when I want to give it a break. I’m very happy with my purchase, in fact at first for some reason I thought it was 100-200 and I had to decide again if it was worth it when I realized it was over 500. I decided it was worth it to me for this new home to have a dedicated fountain room up front, since I loved the color so much and really just thought it was the right one. There was one that was similar and around half the price but for a beige-y neutral color. I just loved the blue, and I am glad I went for it. It’s for a memorial room in the house that will be very peaceful to rest in with a long Vignelli bench and some other minimalist items, sort of a meditation vibe. I thought at first the sound was maybe a little loud for inside even though I like a strong water sound with a fountain. But I now love it and wouldn’t change it. It sounds a bit like filling a bath, so I had to get used to that at first to assure myself a bath wasn’t running over. Anyway, long review but hope it helps you decide on this fountain. I would buy it again in a heartbeat and will probably buy one for a friend this week as she has told me she listens to the video on her phone all the time that I sent her. It’s a winner!. Elizabeth. It’s beautiful! It sits just in front of the kitchen window, but is tall enough that I can still see it. I love the clean lines.. It looks beautiful with our contemporary home. The pump moves a good amount of water so it’s easy to hear with the kitchen windows open.
