These lamps exceeded our expectations! They arrived well packaged, and even though I had already cut the box open before taking pictures, everything inside was protected and arrived in perfect condition. Assembly couldn’t have been easier, it took less than 5 minutes to have both lamps completely set up. The shades fit nicely, and the instructions (though hardly needed) were clear and straightforward. The quality is impressive for the price. The bases have a substantial feel, the finish looks even better in person, and the linen shades give off a warm, inviting light. They look much more expensive than they actually are and fit our space perfectly. Overall, this was another great Wayfair purchase. I'm taking a star off as they are more lightweight lamps than expected, but the price completely makes up for that. I got these for a spare bedroom so they work well for me. They are attractive and very clean looking, throwing some silvery sparks from the crackle finish + silver metal base. So much so that I'll likely spray paint the shades silver to amp it up more as I appreciate a bit of bling. I think a bedroom is perfect for these, though they would work in a home office. At 23" tall they are a bit smaller than most couch-side placements, but they will work on a taller table as I've used. I hit on a good price, closeout plus sales, but it was the look I liked. I have the lamp for awhile. I love the design and uniqueness of this double lamp. The only problem, the lights are extremely bright and harsh when turned on. But, because I like the lamp so much, I took the lights out and rested battery operated candles, that turn on with remote devise. The light is then very soft, which is what I desired.. Donna.
