This is such a cute little lamp. I am planning on putting it on my kitchen countertop. It would also look nice on a bookshelf or bathroom lamp as well I think. The detail in the base makes it look high end. I will admit it took me a minute to realize the shade comes flipped in and upside down, you have to pull it all the way around and down over the lamp shade frame for it to expand to size. It's not bright enough to read by, but it gives the room a nice, warm feeling. 1 small complaint- the ball on the pull chain slips through the chain. The ball won't stay on.
