Arrived in original box so it was not packed inside another delivery box. I was concerned that the glass or other parts would be damaged but the foam protected the glass shelves. I would recommend this item be mailed with protective packaging though. Otherwise the quality is fair. The “metal” components including the hardware is a plastic/metal composite but seems durable. I needed a little extra room for a 1/2 guest bathroom pedestal sink. I found the Delta Cassidy matching Glass Shelf with towel bar. The product information sheet showed that I did not need to install the towel bar. The glass shelf is the perfect size for decorative paper hand towels which are more sanitary than multiple use cloth towels when entertaining guests. The shelves were well wrapped and arrived on time. I couldn't find the size I wanted, but these worked fine; maybe even better than the size I was looking for.
