The glass does rattle, but that is an easy fix. It was packed well and had no damage despite the outside of the box being beat up. The construction of the drawers is of a very soft wood, and the drawer bottoms are an odd split panel that I’m not a fan off (will be difficult to keep clean). This is a really beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture. Mine did come with a crack on the top edge. But it did not affect the structural integrity and so I reported it to the manufacturer. They were great to work with and we came to an agreement that I feel is fair to all. This does come with a marker too in case you scratch something while assembling and so I used that on the crack and though I know it is there, I doubt any guests would ever notice it now. It is heavy so make sure you don’t try and move it by yourself. About 100 pounds. This was an awesome Wayfair find! I have zero complaints. I chose the white color, and it is more beautiful in person than pictures. The farmhouse look is lovely with the wood grain top (that actually has texture), and the “shiplap” sides. It has tempered glass in the cabinet doors and very sturdy well-constructed legs. Everything is smooth and has a nice clean finish- no chips or scuffs from shipping. It was easy to assemble and I to want thank the manufacturer from the bottom of my heart for the genius pre-assembled hinges that easily fit together during assembly. Beautiful storage cabinet. I have received many compliments on the color and how it pops in my living room. I used it for vinyl record storage - the shelving component did not seem like it would handle too much weight, so the bulk of my records are on the bottom shelf. The wood is real, not that compressed particle board most furniture uses nowadays. The warm, rich finish looks beautiful and complements a wide variety of interior styles. My husband assembled it and said the instructions were much clearer than most he’s dealt with before. Our only small gripe is that the cabinet doors could’ve used a few extra screws to feel more secure. I ended up using mine in the entryway as a stylish catch all, and it fits the space perfectly.
