We love this vinyl carpet protector for our stairs. It looks very nice, is non-slip and confirms easily to the stairs and stays in place with a minimal number of staples. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Mind Reader in exchange for my honest review. Pros- This glass mat is incredibly heavy and durable, you can tell it is built to last. It is also extremely stable, it stays perfectly in place on the floor and does not slide around at all. It looks very high quality and gives a luxury feel to the room, definitely like a premium product. My chair glides on it effortlessly. Cons- I found that it attracts a lot of dust that is hard to ignore. The biggest annoyance for me is that it is difficult to clean, my vacuum cleaner struggles to go over it properly. The Slip-Stop Rug on the Carpet rug pad is low profile and designed to help combat carpet shift and keep area rugs in place over carpeted floors. Fast and easy to install, you won’t even realize it’s there as it helps prevent dangerous and frustrating bunching and sliding. Don’t let its low profile fool you. Rug on Carpet lives up to its name with a strong, solid construction built using our own adhesive application process. During this process, we coat both sides of a non-woven polyester textile with a special water-based, pressure-sensitive, non-transferable, dry acrylic adhesive. This is how a rug on a carpet achieves maximum gripping power, so you can walk across your area rug. Completely unfold to expose the adhesive side. Place the adhesive side down in the desired location on your carpeted floor. Remove the protective film to expose the alternate adhesive side and place your area rug on top. Proudly made in the USA, we offer a 10-year guarantee with proper use and maintenance. Spot clean with a water-damp sponge and air dry. We use our rug pads in our own homes, and everything we sell is designed with safety and comfort in mind. Don’t let your peace of mind slip away, take your floors back today with a rug on carpet from Slip-Stop.

This rug on carpet pad helped us lay a large rug over our ugly carpet (we rent, so we can’t replace the floors). The rug doesn’t slip around at all, which is what we were worried about. Make sure you lay the pad out straight and flat before putting the rug on top, be. Anna. Philadelphia, PA. Mon Sep 28 2026
