A very cute game. The discs can chip, but I think it’s probably normal. But the bottom mechanism anchors don’t really work that great, they do work but I just never use them. I just slide the bar in and it sits fine, just don’t tip it lol.. Janice. Blasdell, NY. Thu Jul 23 2026

Standing at 16 inches tall, the big, but not huge, pieces included in this set are designed to be indestructible, making them perfect for outdoor settings, as well as commercial settings in which they are likely to be used by scores of people. The pieces are very light, weighing about 8 to 17 ounces each, which enables them to be easily moved by young children. They have the ability to be made heavier as well. Simply drill a hole at the bottom of each piece, fill it with fine sand, and seal it back up with adhesive. These chess pieces are designed to withstand the most extreme weather conditions. We have set in the heat of the Middle East, the humidity of the Far East, the cold of the Rocky Mountains, and the sun, sand, and salty air of Southern California.
