This bed is great for the price! Bought two twin beds for our young grandchildren. The wood looks really nice and assembly was easy with clear instructions. It took a couple of hours to assemble. A few of the holes where the screws went in was not complely drilled out so had to press hard to get the screw in. I used an impact drill for all the screws to go into the slats. Only concern are the slats where the mattress sits on. It is made of soft wood and easy to bend. Quality of frame is sturdy, looks nice and fits nicely in our small bedroom. The 4 stars is due to misleading height of headboard and the assembly. It came in a smaller sized box and headboard had to be put together by screwing together many pieces. The inset nuts and bolts of the headboard did not line up properly so it took extra time to figure out a workaround. The black metal railing at end of bed is unnecessary so we didn't install it. I cannot give this enough stars - such an easy assembly although two people recommended for ease. It IS a heavy delivery box (we had to unload the box and haul piece by piece up a spiral staircase to get it to the room) but when all put together it is so sturdy, no noise, beautifully simple piece..
