I bought these to help reduce the wind that we get on our deck. We have them attached to the railings. Last year we had to chase our furniture a few times during our wind storms but not this year. They worked very well as a wind break. They definitely had to be secured well to keep them in place. They look very nice and add to the look of our deck instead of taking away. The metal screen is perfect for creating privacy and ambience in my backyardpatio. It does take a while to put the three panels together with the support railings since there are a lot of screws, but it’s not difficult. The pieces are manufactured well so there were no issues fitting pieces and putting screws into pre-machines holes. One person who is good with putting stuff together can do it in about 30-45 minutes. The panels are steady, but a strong gust of wind can knock them over if the wind hits them right. Straightforward to put together. Directions say 2 people; I easily did my 2 alone. LOTS of screws - in tight spaces. My fingers did get sore. Not heavy steel, though what I expected for the price. These are really nice privacy screens. They are a nice design and provide a nice amount of screening. The paint is plenty thick and has a nice powder coat finish to it, which helps in the protection of the paint.
