This is beautiful and will be an amazing heirloom piece. I have 3 skillets from finex. I cannot recommend this brand enough. The pans are solid and heavy and truly are beautiful. Seasoning and reseasoning is something that I actually like to do to keep them non stick. These pans sit on my stove and they are what we us 95% of the time. Do it! They will last your lifetime and through your children’s lives. The pan comes unseasoned so the color is more bronze, after seasoning they will be black. I have not used yet but will I love this cast iron frying pan. it is 10 inches non stick. i made breakfast with it cooking bacon none of it stuck. really heavy and cleans up well. I put it in the oven which was still warm let it dry and then put thin coat of oil so no rust happens. I didnt give it 5 stars they make the new pans with rough cooking area but I still love the pan. It is so light I can pick it up with one hand. My other cast iron and enamel cast iron pans are too heavy to handle that easily. The surface is smooth like stainless, but it has the even cooking temps that cast iron is know for. I notice that it does heat up faster that standard cast iron (maybe since it is lighter weight) so you need to adjust the heat down and it does not take as long to get to smoke point. Place the oiled pan on a burner set to high heat. Once the oil is lightly smoking, turn off the heat and allow the pan to cool.
