This coffee maker does not disappoint. I've never heard of this name brand but decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. First, it makes great coffee. It's super easy to use. You can even set the clock without any issues. The front has a list of options for use by simply pressing the button. It's digital, it's ready to use right out of the box. It comes with a reusable filter basket but I switched the basket from my previous one so I can still use the disposable paper filters. If you don't mind washing the basket each time then the reusable one works great. I really like the look of this coffee maker. It has a sleek modern look and is not too bulky. Highly recommend.. Add your favorite loose tea or tea bags to the reusable filter. A removable water tank can be filled directly at the sink for convenience. Fill the glass pitcher with ice to the ice level marked on the pitcher prior to brewing. You can also add fresh or frozen fruit before or after brewing for a refreshing tea blend. Adjust the brew strength with the slide on the front of the machine, for a stronger-tasting tea slide the lever to the right. Serve iced tea directly from the pitcher that can also be stored in the refrigerator after brewing. A recipe book with 18 delicious recipes is included, with more recipes. The Capresso 2.5 qt. Glass Electric Tea Kettle is also perfect for iced coffee beverages, however, it is recommended to use a separate filter for coffee so there is no flavor transfer. Can’t live without it. Hot or cold, small or large. It’s an easy 3 step process and I love it! I suggest not using tap water to avoid hard water rings around the basin; spring or filtered water is best. I also suggest gently washing the water basin. Scrubbing with an abrasive sponge or wire pads will cause scratches on the plastic. I’ve had it for a few years and use it religiously everyday and it’s still brewing strong. This product is easy to use right out of the box. There’s two baskets for the single cup side so you can brew with grounds or a k-cup. I’ve used both and both work well. There are ridges in the water basin so you can brew small to large cups. The traditional multi-cup pot side is pretty standard with a mesh filter basket and pour in feature. When you hit brew on either side, it takes a minute to heat the water before it starts coming out but you can hear it so you know it’s doing something.
