The cooktop works great, but I wanted induction. When I searched products by using the filters, this electric one was in the list. My fault for not double checking before I bought. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. I love this product, it looks great with the other appliances I have. The buttons are a little sensitive but the locking mechanism helps to ensure safety. The stove heats up quickly and the design is beautiful. The oven has no heat air fryer which helps to cook foods quickly. The convection backing works well too. Please try to just make it 12" since that is a common skillet size. * Easy clean seems fairly ineffective. * Air fry mode is ok, but convection bake seemed to get better results for air frying. * The touch interface goes to sleep and needs an extra tap at first which is slightly annoying.
