Nearly 5 year update... I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this range! The wifi feature allows me to start the oven while on my way home from the grocery store, cook baked potatoes left inside it or preheat from the hammock in the backyard. I don't love the air fry feature, I still use a different one. I bought a newer version of this range than a friend had and recommended and am so glad I did. It gave our kitchen a much more modern look, and I like the front controls and how easy the glass top is to keep clean. The oven has worked well, and I haven’t had any issues with baking. My only complaint is the cooktop when using cast iron. We cook with cast iron almost every day, and I noticed the heat doesn’t seem to spread as evenly as I expected. It’s not a deal breaker, but it was noticeable compared to other stoves I’ve used. If you mostly cook with stainless steel or nonstick pans, this probably won’t be an issue. I love this product, it looks great with the other appliances I have. The buttons are a little sensitive but the locking mechanism helps to ensure safety. The stove heats up quickly and the design is beautiful. The oven has no heat air fryer which helps to cook foods quickly. The convection backing works well too. We make peanut butter cookies and they baked perfectly, with the edges of the cookie crispy but the middle was soft and moist. I am overall happy with this product and highly recommend it.. Chanel. Outstanding electric range by GE. WiFiBluetooth, all the bells whistles. Obviously it is extremely easy to clean, just wipe go. I usually just use a damp paper towel it comes out sparkling! It has a super sleek modern look! I’ve got a ton of compliments on it. Heats up quick cooks food evenly. Digital buttons are easy to use, although sometimes they go off when wipingcleaning the display panel but that’s to be expected but u can push the lock button beforehand. I am very happy with this hood. The quality of build seems solid, installation instructions were very clear, and it I think it looks great. It takes some planning and work to get it installed. You have to make sure your ceiling joists and ductwork is going the right direction or be prepared to do some modifications. I have a soffit and had to take down a bunch of drywall to modify the framing, run the 14/3 romex for the light/fan and modify the ducting. Then I replaced the drywall, taped, texture, paint and installed the hood. Fortunately it all came together nicely. I was able to held the hood in place while my wife drive the screws into the framing. I think it will be worth it in the end because the hood won’t be blocking the view in front of our cooktop.. I LOVE our new GE induction range. I have to admit, I was pretty uncertain about how I would feel about the change. The thing that bothered me the most was that my favorite skillet would no longer work well on the induction range. My husband purchased a beautiful cast iron skillet that I now love just as much. The range itself really does heat instantly. It can boil tap water in about a minute -- crazy! It is as easy to control as a gas range. The only down side of the range is on one side there are two burners that can be tethered together and operated together for a large pan - think rectangular pancake skillet. This feature is dumb because while the range top has markings indicating there would be even heating on the entire side of the range, including between the burners, that does not happen and you just have two separate hot spots on one large pan. I don't know why they did this. As to the oven, it is spacious -- you could definitely do a turkey. One of the racks pulls out of the oven, which is great. This means when you are doing something heavy or something you need to baste frequently, you don't have to lift it out of the oven -- you just pull out the rack. I like all of the features including the air frier. I should note that this is difficult to initially set up because the air frier will only work via an app on your phone. This means you need to set it up with wifi and that was pretty complicated. Once done, it's done forever (I hope!). The oven does not heat instantly like the range or like a gas range, but it also does not take as long as our old range. I feel like it takes about 12 - 13 minutes to heat up to 450, for example. The heat is even. I haven't used the self cleaning feature, but am glad it exists. I am also pleased with the storage drawer under the oven. It is large and easy to pull out.. Mary In Nor Cal. The stovetop is great. I also like the oven; however, sometimes my food doesn't cook evenly. Not sure if this is a "me" issue, or if it's the oven itself...I know that I'll never need to use the Wi-fi feature so, I can't tell anyone how that is. I haven't used the air fry oven feature yet, but I am looking forward to using it in the near future and possibly getting rid of my counter top air fryer and getting back more counter space. The stove top is very streamlined. These stove top grates will fit in my dishwasher, saving me from hand washing them. All in all, this was a great addition to my kitchen and replacing my old range/oven was a good decision. This range/oven has many more features compared to my old range (like air fry, smart connection via app, power burner, better self-cleaning function, and nicer appearance).. Chainmaillegal.
