Update — Seller and manufacturer ultimately agreed to mail me a new replacement for the whole item after I agreed to mail back the original at their cost. Glad they agreed to correct the problem. This arbor is perfect. All the holes and notches were in the right places for assembly, the whole thing is square, sturdy, and level, the cedar is beautiful, the instructions were clear. I could not be happier. It took about 4 hours to assemble for two people, including digging the post holes and filling with quickset concrete. You will definitely need a second person and a ladder; it's lightweight, but too large to maneuver on your own. We used bricks to prop it up while we did the concrete and then tied a rope over the top for a few hours to counteract any wind. Worked like a charm.. Kristin. Phoenixville, PA. Thu Oct 15 2026
