I really liked the thought of using this product. I was not able to use it due to fear of damage of my house if used because of possible high winds and fan being too close to edges. It says it is resistant, but do not know if rod will move too much during wind events causing damage. Description was not clear enough to know. Otherwise, it was the best option I found. I haven’t installed this yet, but I believe this is going to be a handy patio fan. I like the fact that it plugs in so it can be moved whenever necessary, and the blades are plastic so hopefully humidity and such will not affect the integrity. It was easy to put together (took less than 20 minutes), but I would like to note that the blades read “this side up” but should be flipped while installing since you install them on the bottom… I had completely assembled the fan before I even noticed, so I hope that helps.
