It’s really nice! Got a professional to put it together and it took a long time and some extra tools from the hardware store to get it the way we wanted it. Solid construction. Not quite like the picture. Screws are black, not gold, roof panel does not look exactly like picture either. Put together by myself in about 13 hours, from unboxing to last screw, not extremely handy but a decent DIY'er. I did needed about 10 minutes of help from my wife to align the brace supports from the posts to the frame. The most annoying part was taking all the plastic off the metal roof panels (Tip: Don't try to do this if the panels are too cold or too hot, you will be tearing off small pieces). Out of all the material I would say the roofing panels look good but are very thin, the framing structure is quite sturdy to brace the panels but wouldn't want much snow to build up on it, as I can see the panels sagging under the weight.. At first I was super upset when I got my packages. They were not handled as written on the box and had several puncture marks on them. I realize this isn’t a fault of Wayfair but they should be aware of the condition of packaging. All of my packages were delivered standing upright instead of flat. Despite a piece of wood being bent and the roof tin having a few dents it still went to together just fine. I did it myself, female. It took me 3 total days. Half a day to organize things and almost 2 12 to build it. No regrets at all. Just pay CLOSE attention to directions as you go so you don’t have to go back and fix anything. I made sure I wouldn’t have to. Good luck! No leaks or anything so far. Will have to be cautious in winter as ice will probably slide right off. Overall very happy with the results!. Jill. Kentucky. Based on reviews and cost was the reason we went with this gazebo. It fits our space and the fact it has a metal roof was a great selling point. Our previous canopy had a canvas top which needed replaced every year. I did most of the install myself. I had very little help which was even necessary. It took me four days, so I went slow and steady. The picture only instructions were really pretty good. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Which brings me to building of the gazebo. I left all major screws and bolts that attached the horizontal rails to the legs loose. One of the issues mentioned in reviews was being able to make this thing “square.” I’m handy, but square can be tough at times. By leaving screws and bolts loose, it allowed me to make the necessary adjustments when installing the roof panels. Once all the roof panels were installed, I tightened up all the screws and bolts. I'm proactively giving a good rating, and will be back after assembly tomorrow. Good price, and I did some comparisons. I'm disappointed about the delivery. I've had large items delivered before a walk-in tub, custom sofa sleeper and both times, with specific, confirmed delivery instructions - had to get assertive with delivery guys, who prefer to drop these and similar items on my driveway in plain site. For this gazebo delivery, my instructions were to put these heavy boxes in my garage, which didnt happen. The garage doors were wide open FedX never cooperates UPS does. I can always depend on UPS. Ill see how this Assembly goes and then write my review. I'M BACK! Paying for the assembly was smart. 2 guys in uniforms showed up 7 am promptly the day of the predicted storm, and moved the boxes into my garage. They returned the following morning 7 am sharp, laid out all the pieces and had the gazebo built and secured to my deck. Then with owner supervising, the drapes/netting hung with completion in record time at 10:30 am. The gazebo is absolutely beautiful. My neighbor even took pictures of it. Took two professionals 11 hands-on hours to complete. Instructions claiming it takes 3 hours is a said joke - takes 2 hours just to unpack all the parts and peel plastic coating off the roof panels. Maybe there’s a better way to design it or preassemble some so it doesn’t all fall on the customer. Bigger issue I have is that there are no covers for the hardware at the feet - pretty ugly. This was the best option ever to enjoy my backyard oasis. The fire pit is amazing. Larger than i expected. The heat reaches well beyond the Gazebo. We are extremely pleased with the quality of this gazebo. Assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only complication was that we already had our hot tub in place, so we had to build the structure around it. That added some extra difficulty, but it was due to our setup and not the product itself. Honestly, the most challenging part of the entire process was removing the protective plastic film from both sides of the roof panels. The included gloves were a thoughtful addition and helped protect our hands from the sharp metal edges during assembly. The finished result looks fantastic and has been a great addition to our backyard. At this point, we are not using the included mosquito mesh curtains or privacy curtains, but we appreciate having the option. One feature we really like is the vented roof design. The mesh vent at the top allows air to circulate while still providing plenty of shade. It helps keep us cool and comfortable during the summer, making the space around the hot tub much more enjoyable. There were two roof panels with dents when the product arrived. Fortunately, we were able to position those panels facing the house, making the damage virtually unnoticeable. While not ideal, it did not affect the overall appearance or functionality. Overall, we are incredibly happy with this purchase and would absolutely buy it again.
