This grab bar is perfect for my basement bathroom that my 91 year old father uses. We just had our handyman install it and it’s sturdy and secure for him. He now feels safer taking his shower. It was longer than I anticipated and my handyman had to add additional blocks to the studs in order to install the bar. Luckily the backside of the shower is unfinished in the utility room so access was easy. The finish is beautiful and it was quite heavy, so I think it will hold up for quite some time. Whom doesn’t love bathroom jewelry This stainless steel grab bar is beautiful. Stainless steel is a top notch metal and anti rust. The finish is a brushed nickel that is non slip. Design is classic. I placed it on my island and it sits flat. The bar itself is not rounded it’s elongated to fit the natural curve of your hand.
