Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. This heater can put out some heat!! I set mine at 60 degrees and it stays 70-80 degrees in my well insulated small home. It is NOT a wall insert - it mounts in the floor- I purchased it to mount on the wall and then had to call Wayfair because it does not mount on the wall as advertised. The Tahoe 45ol outdoor linear gas fireplace has been built tough to weather whatever the elements can throw at it. This unit allows wood framing and can be installed without a surround, finishing material installed right up to the glass for a simplified modern look, or with the durable 3” stainless steel surround. The unit even comes with a stainless steel cover for protection when not in use. Tahoe 45ol comes with a rock and Black Onyx fire glass media, and a stainless steel frame.

Comes standard to run on natural gas but also available for liquid propane use.

Picture of product is a little deceiving. Pic shows a surround around the fireplace which is not included, instead being a $500 accessory. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beautiful electric fireplace will be the main focal point in any room! Everything came in 3 big boxes. The stone parts came in one box, the mantle piece in another, and the heating element/fireplace in the third. It was so easy to setup! The entire unboxing, putting it together and cleanup took just about 1 hour. I do recommend a second person to help with setup because it is a big fireplace over 5 feet wide and 4 feet tall. The fireplace comes with a remote control and you can change the color of the fire, the intensity of the heat, the brightness of the flame and it turns on and off with the push of a button. You can also use the fireplace without the heater turned on if you just want to enjoy the ambience of the fireplace. IIt is recommended for use in 120 volt 3-prong outlets.
