While the high firing temperature and quality of this glazed terracotta garden art result in a durable and frost-resistant product, they still recommend that it be stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the garden art to crack and break. Garden Art that must be left outside should be covered to prevent water, snowcovered and ice from accumulating.
