This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. The 60x30” classic American style solid surface freestanding resin stone soaking tub exceeded my expectations. I was shopping for a client who requested specific interior dimensions on the tub—and this beautiful, high-quality soaking tub matched her desired parameters. The finish on the tub is matte, not shiny like an acrylic or glazed cast tub. It looks like white stone. Wayfair delivered the item in great packaging, crated in a wooden box with plenty of wrapping inside. The tub arrrived with no damage, and was installed without issue. Moving this tub is not for the faint of heart—it weighs in at more than 300 pounds, and it took three grown men to move it—so plan on help to set it in its permanent location. All in all we are very satisfied with this soaking tub. This tub was purchased for my daughters’ bathroom renovation. The pictures do not do this tub justice! Prior to renovation, their bathroom had a one-piece showertub combo with sliding glass doors. In order to give them a stand-alone tub, along with a very custom designed rainfall shower we had to relocate the vanity over to the wall where the shower wasis located. I was nervous about the aesthetics of the tub, especially given that it was now going to be the focal point of the room. Not only is the tub beautiful and elegant but the girls absolutely love it!!! I will forewarn you you will need all hands on deck to move this tub. It arrived in a wooden crate, with lid, which was great as my contractor didn’t get it installed right away.
