Leaving a second review as I don’t see my first one listed This product is made of really inexpensive pinewood with a very light spray paint is it a scratch and comes off when you wipe It’s listed as an outdoor potting bench when it actually rained water fell through the gaps of the countertop ended up in my drawer this took me an hour and a half to put together and I recommend highly if you want to last more than one summer just give it a varnish coat. It will extend the life of this piece and also make it waterproof. Overall, it’s a nice piece. This is a very large garden bench with storage cabinets and shelves. I am not sure what type of wood but it is an out door item so should wistand the weather. I would add a waterproofing coat on top just in case as it feels like it needs one. This arrived in two boxes and takes some time to put together. Currently in mid build but will update pictures when done. I liked the choices of white or brown (we chose brown). I can’t wait to use in spring with all my pots and garden tools to be very organized. As I finished putting together noticed that directions do not say which way the vertical support goes on.
