It's a good value for the price. There was a minor quality control issue that made it hard to tighten screws on the door. But the door still works fine. It was easy to put together. My boyfriend put level concrete blocks in the ground and secured the base to the blocks. So, we didn't use the stakes that were included. It's definitely an upgrade from the old gate we had. Love this arbor! The instructions were very user‑friendly, and overall the assembly was straightforward. It definitely requires two people to put together, but once you get going it comes together nicely. I did have to redrill the holes where the rail attaches to the side lattice, but aside from that the process was simple. My biggest tip is to lay out all the pieces before starting so you can familiarize yourself with the components. Doing that made the assembly much easier. Very happy with the final result.. Diana. Instructions are easy to understand and all parts were received with quick shipping. It comes flat packed as panels, and I wish the arched angle at the top came pre-assembled. Without it, it can be difficult to get the gate doors even (see photo). It’s also very light, so I reinforced mine by driving rebar into the ground and drilling holes out in the feet and positioning the arbor over it. Without doing that, the arbor wants to swing when the gate is open. Now it’s solid. You will definitely want to reinforce it if you plan to grow anything on it. It is really pretty. Wasn’t hard to assemble. Unfortunately the latch situation others have described in their reviews are true. The latch must have been put on backwards because the gate will NOT stay shut. Any little breeze will open it. I’ll have to figure out a latch that will match it and actually keep it closed. Im so excited to put this together and set up the garden. The packaging came in easy to move pieces. I’ll update the review with photos once it’s all set up. Update this was a lot of work to put together but definitely worth it. Where do I begin, initially I was very drawn to this garden arch with planters. However, after opening the box I noticed some issues right away. First, this wood has an odor to it that gave me a headache. Then I picked up a few pieces and was shocked by how lite they were. Not a durable quality wood, but something cheaper. Multiple parts are being held together with staples, the wood supports are not even long enough to go from side to side.
