I bought this to organize my craft items. The shelves arrived disassembled in a box. The directions were pretty clear once I read it through and was able to determine what was meant because the pieces were all separated and labeled logically. I was able to assemble the shelving unit by myself within about a half hour. The shelving unit is much heavier and sturdier than I expected and I am very happy with the quality. Seems sturdy but was a little hard to assemble because you really have to bang in the pieces for them to connect with each other. Also the top part isn’t really secure. I think they are worth buying unless you have particularly heavy things to put on the shelves. The included wood is particle board and is surprisingly thin, I imagine it wouldnt be hard to add or replace the wood shelving as it just sits in channels.
