Does the work. Although not in the description it can be used with a power drill. The manual cranking is too slow and not practical. The template is difficult to use overhead with the installation and although works with 16” joists the instruction did not explain. The screws provided is too large for 1.5” actual joist width and does not feel right but overall does the job.. Sm. Mississauga, ON. Sun Sep 06 2026

These racks have worked very well in my garage above the garage door. The ceiling in my garage was not tall enough to put drop down racks, so these keep the bins close to the ceiling. I still had to switch to 17 gallon bins, as the 27 gallon bins were too tall for my garage. That was no fault of the racks, just my garage ceiling is not very tall avocet the garage door. I would buy these again.. Stephen. Tue Mar 31 2026

Fabulous, i have numerous Gladiator products. First time ordering and receiving the ceiling mount system. Very happy, well made. Hanging was not the usual flat ceiling, i hung it on a vaulted ceiling in my garage, had to make a pitched board to compensate for this. Worked out well. (Yes i know gladiator does not acknowledge this issue). So happy with this 2x4 version i ordered 2x8 version.. Bill. Los Osos, CA. Tue Aug 29 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Lugo 2x3 ft shelve are heavy duty. They are not your typical garage storage shelving. They are constructed of heavy duty metal and the included brackets and hardware are quality as well. The depth is approximately two shoe boxes end to end. The only downside is that it did take a good amount of time to install these. However as with any quality product extra steps usually are required.. Damianscloud9_411. Wed Feb 12 2025

Attach a standard power drill for even faster lifting (drill not included). When the platform is raised, the built-in secure lock keeps everything firmly in place. Constructed from thickened, rust-resistant carbon steel, this 400 lbs capacity ceiling storage rack is built for long-term durability in garage and workshop environments. Installation is straightforward on standard ceiling joists, with clear instructions and partially pre-assembled parts. Our support team responds within 24 hours if you need assistance during setup.
