Just say, "open can" and the lid opens automatically, so throwing trash away is quick, efficient and hassle-free. You can also say, "stay open" while performing longer chores or cooking, and the lid won't close until you say, "close can" (or it will close automatically after 10 minutes). It also has a motion sensor that opens the can with a wave of your hand and is smart enough to adapt to you and the surrounding environment — no false triggers, no unexpected lid closures.

18-gallon stainless steel oval kitchen motion sensor trash can has a sensor-activated lid that opens automatically with a wave of a hand for touch-free operation and easy trash disposal. Stainless steel with fingerprint-resistant coating.

I just got it so I don’t know yet. It arrived fast. The manual says it takes 1.5V AA batteries but the trashcan says 5V AA batteries. I tried 1.5V but it’s not working yet. Going to tinker around a bit. It looks nice though.. Sarah. Sat Sep 26 2026

So far, so good. Sometimes the motion sensor is sensitive and will go up if I walk by. That doesn’t happen all the time.. Anonymous. Fri Oct 16 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recycle at home but end up throwing away recyclables at the office so I wanted a compartmentalized system at work. I found this sharp looking dual trash & recycling can online and got it. When it arrived, I was a little surprised at how small it is. Each compartment is around the size of a plastic grocery bag which works well for my office. It's small enough to fit under my desk but looks nice enough to have out in the open. No more wasting recyclables at the office! I'm happy I got it!. David86. Indiana. Sat Sep 09 2023

Crafted with thoughtful details and smart functionality, the KOHLER® 13-gallon motion-sensor trash can minimizes the spread of germs, simplifies your daily routine, and meets the style demands of its surroundings. This opens automatically with the wave of a hand, allowing for more sanitary everyday operation. Push-button functionality allows you to keep the lid open for continuous use, if desired. The rectangular stainless-steel can with removable liner bin fits any brand of 13-gallon trash bags. Its convenient design allows it to be placed right against a wall or cabinet, and the fingerprint-resistant finish keeps it clean longer.

We are obsessed with this trash can! So easy, so functional, and really pretty too. The only thing, and almost worth a star, is that we don’t understand why the back isn’t fully flat. The battery of the lid juts out in back, and there is all this extra space behind where the bag and inner compartment rests. Even if the battery pack needs to jut out, they could still easily shave an inch off the depth of this given all the extra space, which would make this even more attractive and perfect. We love it though, just be prepared to know it doesn’t sit fully flush against its backside. If they “fixed” this design element, we’d 100 go buy that model immediately and give it six stars.. Nina. Crafted with thoughtful details and smart functionality, the KOHLER® open-top trash can collection will simplify your daily routine in home or office and meet the style demands of its surroundings. With a handsome brushed exterior finish, the 3-gallon (12 L) open-top trash can is ideal for small spaces, such as under an office desk or next to a toilet. The functional design with tabs to secure the bag allows you to use any plastic shopping bag.

I like the sleek design of this trash can. The shape is unique and stylish. I really like it and it isn't very wide so the rectangular shape doesn't take up a lot of floor space in the bathroom. Update: The top "ring" is removable for emptying or for putting in a liner. I didn't like the black interior, so I got white trash bags.. Janice. Racine, WI. Wed Sep 23 2026

Such an awesome fan with some power for how small it is. We needed to swap out a normal sized fan for this smaller one and the installation was super easy. Especially if you already have brackets installed in the crawl space/ceiling. There’s sooooo many options for lights, dimness, going with music, etc. for some, it could be overwhelming but I LOVE all the options. Plus I also love that you can control it from the controller or the app. I’ve worked with the Tuya app with other devices and I love it. Highly recommend fan!. Maria. Peoria, IL. Sat Oct 03 2026
