As a board gamer I wanted a good table that could be a dining table and a gaming table but wasn’t going to cost an arm and a leg from one of the big board game table companies. This table is perfect for that! Reasonable pricing and it’s a solid piece. It’s real wood, the color is lovely. You can play games on the top or take out the middle pieces for the lowered vault area. The cup holders are removable which is great when it is not in use to save space. No directions at all but the listing had it readily available. This table in cherry walnut does not look like the photos, it is much more orange than cherry. It also does NOT come with any game pieces. I am using my pieces from another chess set. This game table is pretty neat and will be great for family game night. I had to take one star away however, due to some quality control issues. First there is one piece of the top that was bowed slightly which caused a small gap and makes the top removable pieces fit very snuggly. Second, one of the cup holders broke. This actually isn't a big deal as it still holds the cup and my husband can easily fix it with some wood glue. Lastly I ordered the darker table and got the lighter one. Again not a deal breaker as I actually like the lighter one maybe better. Overall though the table is actually really nice which is why I only took one star. My son LOVES it for building his Lego sets. We actually replaced our dining table with this table because of how much use it will get. We are big board game, card game and D&D enthusiasts so this is actually going to be amazing for game nights. It will be much more useful than a regular dining table. It does take a bit to put together. It is not just attaching the legs, you build the entire table and it comes in two boxes. It is completely worth the time though. It is a great design, sturdy table for the price. Looks nice but it is the vinyl coated mdf so could get scraped up easily if not careful. It is very heavy but delivery people put it in the garage for us and we were able to take it to our basement in prices. Material is obviously not real wood however it does have a lot of weight to it therefore I would suggest a helper to put it together it took me over two hours by myself.
