We used these on our back patio and added faux shrubbery to add some greenery. These are metal and VERY sturdy. You could even put bricks or rocks in the base if you live in a windy spot. This is quite time consuming to put together. Each bed has 87 nuts and bolts that need to be screwed in and tightened. The wrench and screwdriver tool that come with it are worthless so you’ll want to use your own tools. Several of the metal panels also arrived in the package with gouges in them.
