Update This rug is still in great condition after almost 6 months. I do recommend getting a carding brushany pet brush, and brushing your rug to help with the shedding and the matting. Brushing it will give it new life. I’ve been wanting a rug like this forever, was just waiting for the right time and it went on sale. I ended up purchasing 2 of the black ones (8x5) since I wanted a large rug that was about 10 feet long. It’s exactly as described and shipping was quick! The rug feels almost silky when you’re walking on it, although it’s really thin and you will need a rug pad if you want some cushion. For now, I’m just tying to keep it from wrinkling up when we walk on it, so I used double sided rug tape. It does shed after a few days and gets all over your clothes, feet, socks, etc. From experience with shaggy pillows and rugs, this usually stops after a few weeks or so.
