Super simple and quick to put together, also very easy to adjust into a bed or back into a futon. Really pretty color but it’s suede not leather, either way it has a leather aesthetic. Looks great! A bit of a pain to assemble but I'm happy with the result. The storage space underneath the cushion is only covered by some thin wood slats knit together so I wouldn't trust falling down onto that cushion. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I was doing it by myself and found it was easier to connect the pieces together with someone else as they are very heavy. As far as comfort, the couch could use some work in that department. It’s very stiff. We’ve only had it a few days so it might just need to be broken in. But as of right now it’s pretty hard to sit on. The lay down feature is very nice and great to watch movie and spread out. My husband is 5’10 and he’s too tall for it. I’m 5’5 and it’s just about the right height for me. When the portion is not out, it’s not super comfy to just sit and watch tv. I think it’s good for the price point and because it’s just the two of us. This would not work for a large family. I really like this sofa bed overall. It’s the perfect size for two smaller adults to sleep comfortably, and it’s a great option for a small apartment without taking up too much space. The only issue I had is that one of the wheels underneath tends to come loose when pulling the bed out. It seems like that part wasn’t assembled very well. It seems durable and like it will work well for our purposes, but for some reason they adhered a parts number label to the surface of one of the cushions - which is visible - and it’s bonded to the material So … not sure how we’re going to get that off. We’ll figure something out, but it’s a pain. Considered three stars tbh but it seems like a decent value for the price. And it would be a hassle to send the whole thing back.
