This fur blanket arrived very tightly vacuum sealed. When I opened the bag, there was a bad smell (like all textiles that are stored in a warehouse), and the blanket was really wrinkled. The company insert recommended throwing it into the dryer on low heat for fifteen minutes, to fluff it up. When I took it out of the dryer, the sour smell was gone (mostly), and the wrinkles magically disappeared, and what was left was a soft and cozy blanket for my bed and living room sofa. It’s definitely heavy and warm, even with the air conditioning blasting. The only thing I’m a little disappointed in is the color. I don’t now if my pictures fully show, but it almost shows a bit on the blue side. Especially in the lighter gray spots. The opposite side is a solid velvet-y material in a slightly warmer gray that slightly contrasts the slightly blue-ish black on the fur side.
