This sizable, freestanding etagere bookcase is both industrial and vintage-inspired, a dynamic way to organize any room in your home. It has a crisp, clean-lined open metal frame with X-shaped braces in back for exceptional support. Numerous shelves are crafted from engineered wood with a distinctive finish. These surfaces provide lots of space to hold books, framed photos, and much more. At about 69" wide, this bookcase is a great display area against one wall or a handy room divider. A wall anchor is also included for extra safety and stability.

We spray painted metal towers and covered shelves with white wood grain contact paper to lighten up this dark set. Quite easy to put together with two people with half stands propped on ottoman. Did put together top and bottom with holes facing wrong way and had to remove and flip one bottom tower so that joining screws found holes. Very wobbly and definitely anchored to wall on either side. I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. Only issues is the packers at the warehouse or manufacture packed it with scuffs in the black paint on multiple parts. I tried to hide them toward the back side. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. These paired shelving units were just what my small business was looking for to store our store's product. Each unit took about 1/2 hour to assemble with two people working together. After putting the first unit together, the second happens much more quickly. The units' brown shelving match my wall shelving so that was a plus. The units are sturdy and balanced. The pictures are a little misleading not saying its a bad shelf its definitely a good one but im pretty sure they use Ai for their photos because it dosent look as good as the photos. The metal frame is about half as thick as it appears to be in the photo and I feel like that makes it not look as bold I guess. Still a solid shelf for a good deal. I will say this it took me about 2 hours to put together with power tools and I'm very experienced building thing's so if you aren't very mechanically inclined maybe bribe a handy friend that has some power tools because if you put this together with the hand tools in The kit you're gonna be there a while..
