I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading. These lamps exceeded our expectations! They arrived well packaged, and even though I had already cut the box open before taking pictures, everything inside was protected and arrived in perfect condition. Assembly couldn’t have been easier, it took less than 5 minutes to have both lamps completely set up. The shades fit nicely, and the instructions (though hardly needed) were clear and straightforward. The quality is impressive for the price. The bases have a substantial feel, the finish looks even better in person, and the linen shades give off a warm, inviting light. They look much more expensive than they actually are and fit our space perfectly. Overall, this was another great Wayfair purchase. I was super excited to receive these lamps I thought they would match kind of a neutral tone around the room. They are quite large and yes, I looked at the measurements and compared it to the lamp that I had in that spot before I purchased. There are two things that do stick out. I had read it and somebody else’s review after I placed the order and now I’m wondering if I would’ve noticed or if it would’ve bothered me before reading it elsewhere. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention when purchasing the lamps however I thought they were going to be a little bit more distinct from each other. You can tell they were mass produced. I was going more for the natural vibe as opposed to “we got twins” look. Maybe if I used them in separate rooms. However that defeats the purpose.
