The bed has excellent instructions. We did make one or two mistakes that we had to correct, but mainly because they involved parts that were too difficult to picture accurately - we take responsibility for that. Extra hardware of each sort was included. It did take us about five hours (two people), but I think that's just because it's a lot of pieces. We love the six storage bins too!. Sabrina.
