I purchased the queen-size version and also paid for a person through Wayfair to bring the box upstairs and install it. I have slept on the bed for 3 weeks and so far the bed exceeds my expectations. It is beautiful and feels heavy and stable. It does not squeak or move around. I placed the bed on the carpet and the drawers still move in and out easily. Drawers are made of solid wood. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. I added a headboard to the bed that I purchased from another marketplace. So far, I love it and I would recommend it to others!. Raya. Huntington Beach, CA. Wed May 13 2026

Good materials and overall sturdy but it’s not easy to put together. You pretty much NEED a drill and two people. The center supporting legs do not all reach the floor so sitting down on it can cause noise. The frame is also bigger than a queen size mattress so there will definitely be a gap on one end.. I should have bought this when I bought my Purple mattress 5 years ago! Using a regular box spring under a Purple mattress will cause the grid to lose its shape and creates valleys in the mattress. Placing the Bunkie Board on top of the box spring restored the grid to its natural shape, and NOW I sleep on the mattress just like I did when I got it home! I'll be buying these for EVERY SINGLE Purple mattress I own!!!. Yokasta. NM. Mon Oct 19 2026
