This was a big pain to install! Took about 7-8 hours with about 3 of us (we had 2 kids help us so we count them as half each because they were in and out with their "help" lol). Between making sure the bars didnt turn on you and only tightening at 70% but at the end having to find all 100 of the screws to tightening them.... it was a lot. Also I know the sides come with a warning, but please please remember the low ceilings when you have the bed frame up. Adults hits their heads 3 times each before we got the memo. Ouch! However, when all was said and done, my daughter was very happy. The bed edge makes me nervous for sleep purposes, but going to look into possibly a thinner mattress. Maybe even a bed rail of sorts. The bottom loft is very roomy. Has a lot of table space and even the drawers have a lot of room to them. I didn't realize they were cloth drawers, but they are nice and fit a lot. All in all, happy with the final product, despite the challenges of building it. Have built dozens of furniture items over the years, but I’ve never experienced such horrible instructions.
